Period Cupboards

Free Flow NM’s Period Cupboard Program offers free period products in trusted, familiar community spaces — places people already know and feel comfortable visiting.

What makes the program special is choice. Participants select the products that work best for their bodies and their flow. Each person receives a 6-month supply, allowing them to exhale instead of worrying month to month.

Providing several months of products at once helps reduce real barriers — like long drives, missed work, limited store options, or unpredictable schedules — especially in rural communities.

We partner closely with local organizations to distribute products in ways that reflect each community’s rhythms and strengths. By placing period supplies in spaces people already trust, we support consistent access and give individuals the freedom to manage their periods with comfort, confidence, and dignity.
