Period Pod Program

Period Pods™ are similar to the Little Libraries you see in your community, but instead of books, the Pods are filled with period products. Each Pod contains 100 kits/month, and each kit contains a 1-month supply of period products. 400 kits are distributed each month. These innovative pods provide year-round 24-hour access to period products, ensuring that anyone in need can obtain them with complete anonymity. There are no forms to fill out or registration required, making it easy and hassle-free for individuals to access the products they need when they need them.

An artist from the community uniquely paints each Pod while all-volunteer groups known as Pod Tenders oversee the management of these Pods. We currently have four pods in Santa Fe: La Farge Library, Santa Fe Southside Library, ReUnity Farms Community Cupboard, and the Ortiz Mountain Health Clinic (Cerrillos).
